Seahawks Sign Veteran CB Josh Thomas

 

Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports that the Seahawks have signed veteran CB Josh Thomas to a contract.

Thomas will take the place of CB Jeremy Lane on Seattle’s roster after Lane was placed on injured reserve with the designation to return on Monday.

Thomas, 25, last played for the Panthers, but was among their final roster cuts as the trimmed their squad down to 53 players.

He spent three years in Carolina and recorded 27 tackles, one interception and two pass defenses over the course of 13 games last year.
