Seahawks Sign WR B.J. Daniels To Practice Squad, Cut LB Tyrell Adams

The Seattle Seahawks officially signed WR B.J. Daniels to their practice squad on Thursday, according to the NFL Transactions release.

  • The Seahawks released LB Tyrell Adams from the unit to make room for Daniels.

Seattle’s practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR B.J. Daniels
  2. LB Eric Pinkins 
  3. CB George Farmer 
  4. WR Kasen Williams
  5. WR Kevin Smith
  6. TE RaShaun Allen
  7. T Terry Poole
  8. OL Will Pericak
  9. DB Kevin Short
  10. DT Robert Thomas

Daniels, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He lasted less than a year in San Francisco before he was waived and later claimed by the Seahawks.

Daniels was able to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but has been on and off the team’s roster since then.

The Seahawks cut him a few days ago to make room for RB Bryce Brown.
