Seahawks Signing WR Tyler Lockett To Three-Year Extension Worth Up To $37.8M

Mike Garafolo reports that the Seahawks are signing WR Tyler Lockett to a three-year extension that carries a base value of $31.8 million and can max out at $37.8 million.

According to Garfolo, Lockett’s new contract includes $20 million guaranteed.

This leaves DE Frank Clark as the next candidate to watch for an extension from the Seahawks.

Lockett, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2015. He was in the final year of his four-year, $3.318 million contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.

Lockett was in line to be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

In 2017, Lockett appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks and caught 45 passes for 555 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 58 yards and totaled 949 kick return yards and a touchdown to go along with 237 punt return yards.
