Seahawks Tried Out 7 Players Including RB Bernard Pierce & FB Darrel Young

The Seattle Seahawks brought in seven players for tryouts this week including RB Bernard Pierce, according to Doug Kyed.

The other players who worked out for Seattle include: FB Tommy Bohanon, DB Chimdi Chekwa, RB Kenny Hilliard, WR Jamel Johnson, LB Randell Johnson, DE Rufus Johnson and FB Darrel Young.

Pierce, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2012. He spent three years in Baltimore before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Jaguars.

The Jets just signed Pierce to a contract back in August but he was later placed on injured reserve. Pierce was eventually cut loose with an injury settlement.

Pierce’s 2015 season was cut short after he was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a calf injury. Last year, Pierce ran for 11 yards on six carries (1.8 YPC) to go along with three receptions for seven yards receiving and no touchdowns.
