Seahawks Waive RB Robert Turbin From I.R. With Settlement

The Seattle Seahawks officially waived RB Robert Turbin from their injured reserve list on Wednesday with an injury settlement.

Seattle originally waived/injured Turbin last week, and later placed him on season-ending injured reserve after he cleared waivers.

This means Turbin will need to pass through waivers before he can become an unrestrictred free agent and sign with a team of his choosing.

Turbin, 25, is in the final year of his four-year, $2,556,456 rookie contract that included a $456,456 signing bonus. He stands to make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.

Last year, Turbin appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks and ran for 310 yards on 74 carries (4.2 YPC) to go along with 16 receptions for 186 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
