Seahawks Waive/Injured CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste

The Seattle Seahawks announced Tuesday that they’ve waived CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste with an injury designation to make room for DT Tony McDaniel.

Should Jean-Baptiste clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.

Jean-Baptiste, 26, was cut loose at the start of the regular season, despite the fact that New Orleans used a second-round pick on him just a year ago.

After passing through waivers, Jean-Baptiste signed on to the Lions’ practice squad. However, he was waived towards the end of last year before signing on to the Seahawks’ practice squad.

Seattle brought Jean-Baptiste back on a future/reserve contract this past January.

In 2014, Jean-Baptiste appeared in four games for the Saints, but didn’t record a single statistic. This season, has yet to be active for a single game.
