According to Adam Caplan, the Seahawks brought in free agent LB Akeem Ayers for a workout on Tuesday.

Ayers has been busy the past few weeks, working out for the Bears, Saints, Patriots, and Giants since he was cut loose.

Ayers, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Titans back in 2011. He was later traded to the Patriots in return for a 2015 sixth-round pick.

The Rams signed him to a two-year, $6 million contract with $2.75 million guaranteed back in March of 2015. However, he was cut loose by the team in September of last year.

The Colts signed Ayers to a contract just a few days after he was released, but elected to move on from his this past weekend.

In 2016, Ayers appeared in all 16 games for the Colts and recorded 21 total tackles, two sacks, one interception, and two pass defenses.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
