Seahawks Re-Sign Red Bryant

Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network reports that the Seahawks have re-signed DE Red Bryant.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Bryant gets a five-year deal worth $35 million and includes $14.5 million guarantees.

We had Bryant listed as the #43 best available free agent in our Top 50 Free Agents list.

SI’s Jim Trotter, is reporting that the Seahawks are “working hard” to resign LE Red Bryant.

According to Trotter,  Seattle would like to get this done, “before the start of free agency” and rightfully so, as Bryant proved to be an effective run stopper for the Seahawks last season.

The former 4th round pick from Texas A&M in 2008, could draw some interest from other teams if he does test the market, but the Seahawks seemingly won’t let that happen as they are looking to sure up their defense.
