Seahawks Worked Out WR Terrelle Pryor & QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson

Pro Football Talk, citing a league source, reports that the Seahawks are working out free agent WR Terrelle Pryor on Monday.

  • Adam Caplan adds that the Seahawks also worked out WR L’Damian Washington and QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson today.

Pryor met with the Jets last week, but he wound up leaving without a contract offer from the team. Before that, the Patriots brought him in for a tryout, so there’s clearly some interest in him right now.

Pryor, 26, was taken by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2011 supplemental draft. He lasted a little over three years in Oakland before he was traded to the Seahawks for a seventh-round pick that ultimately became Jonathan Dowling.

Kansas City later signed Pryor to a one-year contract back in January, but his stay was obviously short lived. Pryor eventually caught on with the Bengals, only to be waived and later claimed by the Browns.

However, Cleveland elected to cut him loose a few weeks back to make room for Robert Turbin, who was claimed off of waivers.

Pryor managed to make it through roster cuts a few weeks ago, but was waived to make room for RB Robert Turbin, who was claimed off of waivers from the Seahawks.

In 2013, Pryor appeared in 11 games and completed 57.4 percent of his passes for 1,798 yards, seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Bethel-Thompson, 27, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Sacramento State back in 2011. He has bounced around quite a bit since he entered the league, which includes short stints with the Dolphins, Vikings and Patriots.

Bethel-Thompson was most recently with the Dolphins, but was waived just a few days ago as they made room for CB Jonathan Dowling.

Washington, 24, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months with the team before he was later placed on waivers and claimed by the 49ers.

Since then, Washington has had brief stints with the Giants, Browns, and Dolphins before eventually landing with the Steelers back in January.

During his college career, he totaled 100 receptions for 1,735 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns over the course of four years.
