Cowboys LB Sean Lee Out With A Dislocated Wrist?

Bryan Broaddus reports that Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee may have suffered a dislocated wrist during yesterday’s loss to the Eagles. Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports that x-rays were negative but adds that he’s scheduled to undergo further tests today to determine the severity of the injury.

Lee wound up accidentally punching Michael Vick‘s helmet last night while trying to tackle him. Following the game Lee was seen with a cast on his right wrist so there’s certainly some concern regarding his status for Week 9’s game against Seattle.

As of now he leads the team with 50 tackles and has 3 interceptions. While Demarcus Ware is certainly their best player on the defensive side of the ball, Lee is unquestionably their second best player. Dallas missed him immediately following his injury as both Keith Brooking and Bradie James were unable to effectively contribute in Lee’s absence. The Cowboys need to get Lee back as soon as possible because of how much he does for their defense.
