ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Seattle Seahawks are prepared to use their franchise tag on RB Marshawn Lynch in coming days if they’re unable to get a deal done by Monday.
The two sides have been in talks for a number of weeks now but it’s looking like Lynch will be franchised. The move will cost the team $7.7 million for the 2012 season.
