Seattle Ready To Pursue Kevin Kolb?

FOX Sports’ Adam Caplan reports that the Seattle Seahawks interested in Eagles QB Kevin Kolb “has not regressed” and their expected to actively pursue Kolb as soon as tomorrow. Caplan adds that the Cardinals remain the favorite to Kolb but they will at least have some competition. From Caplan’s reports that you can expect Seattle to make an early run at Kolb in an attempt to sway the Eagles.

Seattle has been rumored to be considering Tarvaris Jackson is recent days but they’re more likely to sign him as backup than as their starting quarterback. If Seattle is ready to move on without Matt Hasselbeck, I could see them driving up the asking price for Kolb considering that they’re bidding against a division rival. It’s interesting that they haven’t been linked to more quarterbacks since Charlie Whitehurst remains their only quarterback option as of right now.
