Five More Players Declared Eligible For 2016 Supplemental Draft

According to NFL Media, five more college players have been declared eligible for the 2016 Supplemental Draft.

This list includes: Ole Miss CB Tee Shepard, Virginia Tech LS Eddie D’Antuono, Sam Houston State RB Jalen Overstreet, University of Calgary WR Rashaun Simonise and Concordia DE Cameron Walton.

Last week, Purdue DT Ra’Zahn Howard was declared eligible for next month’s supplemental draft.

The early-entry deadline for the Supplemental draft is July 14, so players still have the better part of two weeks to receive eligibility.

Last year, the Rams elected to use a fifth-round pick on OT Isaiah Battle, which was the first time a player had been taken since the Browns drafted WR Josh Gordon back in 2012.

Overstreet rushed for 1,652 yards on 282 carries (5.9 YPC) to go along with 16 touchdowns and 194  yards receiving over the course of three years at Sam Houston State
