“Something Big” Could Be Coming Following 49ers’ Loss

According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, there’s talk that “something big” could be coming following the team’s Thursday loss to the Seahawks.

“I’ve heard whispers behind the scenes that something big could happen,Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com said following Thursday’s game. “I don’t know what it’s going to be. I don’t know what they’re talking about. But clearly the 49ers can’t go on this way. The coaching staff looks overmatched, the players look overmatched. The 49ers were plain and simple overmatched today against a team that came in with four losses. . . . There are a lot of very upset people in the 49ers organization.

Some had suggested that the 49ers could Colin Kaepernick in favor of Blaine Gabbert. However, HC Jim Tomsula said they plan to stick with Kaepernick in the coming weeks.

Of course, the 49ers could instead consider making changes to their coaching staff, as nothing appears to be working right now on both sides of the ball. Although, Tomsula told reporters Friday that he’s not considering any moves regarding his staff as of now.

There’s also the possibility that San Francisco could get move involved in the trade market, and begin acquiring more draft picks to build their roster next year.

We’ll have more regarding the 49ers and potential changes as the news is available.
