South Carolina QB Connor Shaw Visiting The Browns Thursday

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that South Carolina QB Connor Shaw is visiting with the Browns on Thursday.

According to Wilson, Shaw has either met or worked out with the Falcons, Titans and Patriots but also interviewed with the Seahawks, Packers, Raiders and Jaguars.

The Browns are obviously casting a wide net when it comes to quarterback prospects. As of now, they have already met with:

  • Blake Bortles (UCF)
  • Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville)
  • Derek Carr (Fresno State)
  • Jimmy Garoppolo (Eastern Illinois)
  • Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M)
  • A.J. McCarron (Alabama)
  • Stephen Morris (Miami)
  • Aaron Murray (Georgia)
  • Tom Savage (Pittsburgh)

Wilson reports that “multiple NFL teams” have assigned Shaw a third-round grade with one team giving him a second-round grade.

Last year, Shaw completed 63.4 percent of his passes for 2,447 yards, 24 touchdowns and one interception while contributing 558 yards rushing.
