Joe Schad of ESPN reports that South Carolina RB Marcus Lattimore will announce that he intends to enter the 2013 NFL Draft at some point this week.
Lattimore was lost for the season after he suffered a horrific injury that included a torn ACL and LCL. There are certainly question marks surrounding him, given that he suffered a serious knee injury, but Lattimore offers plenty of size and ability that will most likely lead to him being a solid pro running back.
There’s at least a decent enough chance that he could miss his entire rookie season, so there’s a chance that he could end up being a steal in next year’s draft, assuming that he falls out of the first few rounds.
