Steelers Activate CB Cameron Sutton From Injured Reserve

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that they’ve activated CB Cameron Sutton from the injured reserve list.

The Steelers officially designed Sutton to return a few weeks ago, which opened a three-week window of time for him to be activated.

Sutton, 22, was selected by the Steelers in the third round of this year’s draft. He signed a four-year contract worth $3,126,128, which includes a signing bonus of $736,128 and stands to make a base salary of $465,000 for the 2017 season.

Unfortunately, the Steelers placed Sutton on injured reserve coming out of the preseason.

During his four-year college career at Tennessee,  Sutton recorded 127 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, one sack, seven interceptions, 30 pass defenses, two fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles, and scored one defensive touchdown.
