Steelers Activate OLB Bud Dupree From Injured Reserve

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they have activated OLB Bud Dupree off their injured reserve.

The Steelers announced recently that they are designating Dupree as their player to return from injured reserve, so this move was expected to occur.

Dupree, 23, if a former first-round pick by the Steelers of the 2015 NFL Draft.He is entering the second year of a  four-year, $9.22 million rookie contract that contains $8.632 million guaranteed. He is set to earn a $854,195 base salary this season to go along with another $1,273,390 for 2017.

The Steelers placed Dupree on injured reserve coming out of the preseason with a core muscle tear.

In 2015, Dupree appeared in all 16 games and recorded 26 total tackles, four sacks, and one pass defense.
