Steelers Also Restructuring LB LaMarr Woodley’s Contract

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Steelers will restructure LB LaMarr Woodley‘s contract as well.

Pittsburgh is still trying clear some extra cap room and have already reworked wide receiver Antonio Brown‘s contract

Woodley has a $9 million base salary and is one of the largest commitments on the Steelers books for the upcoming season. It seems likely that they’ll look to reduce his salary down to the minimum and convert the remaining cash into a signing bonus prorated over the length of his contract.

Ben Roethlisberger figures to be next up once their done reworking Woodley’s contract.
