Aditi Kinkhabwala reports that the Ravens are “taking a look at” Steelers free agent LT Kelvin Beachum.
Last night, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the Steelers believe they might be able to re-sign Beachum on a one-year contract, even after they managed to reach an agreement with G Ramon Foster.
Beachum, 26, played out the final year of his four-year, $2.146 million rookie contract, which includes a base salary of $1.542 million and is now in position to test the open market in the coming weeks.
Unfortunately for Beachum, he was placed on season-ending injured reserve just over a month into the season. The two parties discussed a contract extension before the start of the regular season, but couldn’t reach an agreement.
In 2015, Beachum appeared in all five games for the Steelers.
We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.
