Aditi Kinkhabwala and Ian Rapoport are reporting that Steelers CB Senquez Golson suffered a lisfranc injury that could keep him out 12 weeks.

  • Rapoport adds that Golson could be a candidate for injured reserve with the designation to return.

Golson suffered the injury during Monday’s training camp practice.

Golson, 23, was taken in the second round of last year’s NFL Draft. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $4.001 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.

Last year, Golson missed his entire rookie season due to a shoulder injury, so this is really disappointing news for him.
