Steelers Considering Todd Haley For Offensive Coordinator?

NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora reports that Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has been “gathering info” on former Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley who could be an option for the offensive coordinator vacancy.

After being released by the Chiefs, Haley has been brought in for an interview with the Jets and has recently been speaking to the Cardinals about possibly returning to their coaching staff but nothing has come together thus far. Pittsburgh fired OC Bruce Arians a few weeks ago because they’re hoping to get back to a more balanced offensive attack next season and Haley could help them accomplish that much. There’s been a lot made about Haley’s combative nature so the Steelers should be cautious about bringing him to run their offense if they’re not comfortable butting heads with coaches once in a while.
