The Pittsburgh Steelers officially designated OLB Bud Dupree as their player to return from injured reserve on Wednesday.
Dupree, 23, if a former first-round pick by the Steelers of the 2015 NFL Draft.He is entering the second year of a  four-year, $9.22 million rookie contracr that contains $8.632 million guaranteed. He is set to earn a $854,195 base salary this season to go along with another $1,273,390 for 2017.
The Steelers placed Dupree on injured reserve coming out of the preseason with a core muscle tear.
In 2015, Dupree appeared in all 16 games and recorded 26 total tackles, four sacks, and one pass defense.
