Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin mentioned that he is expecting to have RB Rashard Mendenhall to return at some point next season, but admits that he’ll likely start off on the PUP list, per Scott Brown.
Previous reports have suggested that Mendenhall could end up missing the entire year after tearing his ACL during the teams’ final regular season.
Tomlin confirms what GM Kevin Colbert said yesterday regarding Rashard, but it’s pretty safe to say that they’ll have to find an adequate replacement for at least a good portion of the season.
