Steelers Hosted RB Daryl Richardson For A Visit

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that that the Steelers hosted RB Daryl Richardson for a visit on Tuesday.

Richardson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Rams back in 2012. He spent two years in St. Louis before he was waived and later claimed by the Jets, but was unfortunately among the team’s early roster cuts.

The Texans signed Richardson in September, but was waived a few weeks ago after he was on and off of their practice squad.

Richardson hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season when he ran for 215 yards on 69 carries (3.1 YPC) to go along with 14 receptions for 121 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

  1. Why are we looking at a player that has been waived by every team after they sign him, are we that much smarter than the entire NFL?
