Steelers Hosting DL Jack Crawford For A Visit

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Steelers have scheduled a visit with free agent DL Jack Crawford for this week.

Pittsburgh has been in the market for defensive line help in recent weeks as they’ve already met with Mike Martin and Jason Jones.

Crawford, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2012. He spent just two years in Oakland before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season.

The Cowboys later signed him to a contract and he’s now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Crawford appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and recorded 21 tackles and four sacks. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 119 interior defensive lineman out of 123 qualifying players.
