Steelers LB LaMarr Woodley’s Injury Worse Than Initially Believed?

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Steelers LB LaMarr Woodley could be out a while after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday’s win over the New England Patriots.

Following the game Woodley seemed to be pretty optimistic about the injury but Dulac’s report suggests that it’s worse than initially believed. The Steelers will have their bye following Week 9’s game against the Baltimore Ravens so there’s a really good chance that you will not see him until Week 11. Pittsburgh will have to get creative as they’re also going to be without James Harrison for Sunday’s game as well. Rookie LB Chris Carter figures to be next in line to cover for Woodley.
