Steelers OC Todd Haley Injured After Being Shoved Down Stairs, Expected To Return This Week

Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero report that Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley suffered a hip injury after he was shoved down stairs outside a bar near Heinz Field on New Year’s Eve.

According to the report, police have been looking into the matter.

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that offensive coordinator Todd Haley was injured in a fall Sunday night.

We expect he will return to the office this week to participate in preparations,” the team said in an announcement, per Jason La Canfora.

Haley has come up as a potential head-coaching candidate. However, he has yet to schedule any interviews for the available coaching positions.

Haley, 50, began his NFL career with the Jets as a scouting assistant back in 1995. He has worked for a number of teams including the Bears, Cowboys and Chiefs before joining the Steelers as their offensive coordinator in 2012.
