The Pittsburgh Steelers officially re-signed WR Tyler Murphy to their practice squad on Friday, according to the NFL Transactions release.
The Steelers’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Tyler Murphy

- C B.J. Finney
- OT Matt Feiler
- TE Xavier Grimble
- RB Fitzgerald Toussaint
- DB Jordan Dangerfield
- LB L.J. Fort (Exception)

Murphy, 23, signed on with the Steelers back in as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College. He’s in the first year of his four-year, $1.579 million rookie contract included a $4,500 signing bonus.
Murphy was waived a month ago to make room for RB Le’Veon Bell, who has been reinstated from his suspension, but was later added to the team’s practice squad.
The Steelers promoted him a few weeks ago before cutting him to make room for CB Doran Grant.
This season, Murphy has appeared in two games and caught one pass for 16 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
