Steelers Re-Sign S Nat Berhe, Place OLB Ola Adeniyi On IR

Update:

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Monday morning that they have, in fact, re-signed S Nat Berhe and placed OLB Ola Adeniyi on injured reserve.

Jeremy Fowler reports that the Steelers are re-signing S Nat Berhe to a contract just a day after they released him.

Fowler notes that Berhe is a valuable special teams player for the Steelers.

Berhe, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Giants back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,412,800 contract with the Giants before agreeing to a one-year contact with the Steelers this past April.

In 2017, Berhe appeared in 15 games for the Giants and recorded 12 tackles, one sack and no interceptions or pass defenses.
