Steelers Rekindle Contract Discussions With WR Mike Wallace

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports the Pittsburgh Steelers and WR Mike Wallace have “renewed contact” regarding a new contract.

La Canfora adds that a deal could “would get done” if Wallace would accept a five-year deal worth $50 million, with half of that guaranteed.

Talks will not carry over into season, so it appears as though the Steelers are trying to convince him to take the money or face a franchise tag next season.
