Steelers & S Robert Golden Reach Agreement On Three-Year, $5M Deal

Jason La Canfora reports that the Steelers have reached agreement with S Robert Golden on a three-year, $5 million contract.

Golden, 25, wound up signing on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona back in 2012. He returned to the Steelers on a one-year restricted deal last year and would have been an unrestricted free agent in the coming days.

In 2015, Golden appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and recorded 40 tackles, one interception, and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 45 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
