Steelers Sign DB Jacob Hagen To Practice Squad, Waive RB Brandon Brown-Dukes

The Pittsburgh Steelers officially signed DB Jacob Hagen to their practice squad on Saturday and waived RB Brandon Brown-Dukes from the 10-man unit.

The Steelers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. DL Johnny Maxey Jr
  2. DB Jacob Hagen
  3. RB David Cobb
  4. WR Demarcus Ayers
  5. WR Cobi Hamilton
  6. TE Rashaun Allen
  7. OT Matt Feiler
  8. DE Caushaud Lyons
  9. CB Al-Hajj Shabazz
  10. LB Travis Feeney

Hagen, 24, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Liberty back in May of last year. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year but was later signed to the team’s practice squad at the start of the season.

The Steelers elected to sign him to a future/reserve contract this past January only to cut him loose in the final week of the preseason.

Hagen has yet to appear in an NFL game.
