The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Wednesday that they’ve signed fifth-round RB Jaylen Samuels to a four-year contract.
This is the first Steelers’ draft pick to sign his rookie contract.
Samuels, 21, was selected with the No. 165 overall pick in the fifth round by the Steelers. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $2,718,064 contract that includes a $258,064 signing bonus.
During his four-year college career at N.C. State, Samuels rushed for 1,107 yards on 182 carries (6.1 YPC) to go along with 201 receptions for 1,851 yards receiving and 47 total touchdowns over the course of 50 games played.
