Steelers Sign Four Players Including CB Donald Washington, Cut Four

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed four players to their 90-man roster following tryouts at their rookie minicamp, according to Mark Kaboly.

The players signed to contracts include: CB Donald Washington, RB Brandon Brown-Dukes, RB Cameron Stingily, and WR Marcus Tucker.

The Steeler also waived RB Christian Powell, RB Rajion Neal, WR Tobais Palmer and CB Isaiah Frey on Monday, per Ed Bouchette.

Washington, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2009. He spent three seasons with the Chiefs before he was cut loose at the start of the 2012 season.

That year, Washington served a three-game suspension after being arrested on suspicion of DUI. This will be his first opportunity with an NFL team since then.

In 2011, Washington appeared in 12 games and recorded 25 tackles a forced fumble and two pass defenses for the Chiefs.
