Steelers Sign LS Kameron Canaday & P A.J. Hughes

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed long snapper Kameron Canaday and P A.J. Hughes to contracts.

Canaday will have to compete with Greg Warren for a roster spot this summer.

Canaday, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Portland State back in May of last year. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was unfortunately waived just a few weeks into the regular season.

In 2016, Canaday appeared in three games for the Cardinals.
