Steelers Sign OT Jake Rodgers To One-Year Deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they’ve signed OT Jake Rodgers to a one-year contract on Friday.

Rodgers, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Falcons back in May of 2015. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to the Giants’ practice squad at the start of the 2015 season.

The Giants elected to bring Rodgers back on a future/reserve contract this last year before waiving him with an injury designation during the preseason. He later reverted to the Giants’ injured reserve but was cut loose with an injury settlement a few weeks later.

Rodgers has yet to appear in an NFL game.
