Steelers Sign P Brad Wing To A One-Year Extension

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Friday that they’ve signed P Brad Wing to a one-year contract extension.

  • The terms of Wing’s new contract were not disclosed at this time.

Wing, 23, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out LSU back in 2013. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason that year and was later placed on waivers.

Pittsburgh would eventually sign him to a future/reserve contract in January of last year.

In 2014, appeared in all 16 regular season games for the Steelers and finished the year with 61 puts for 2,668 yards (43.7 average) to go along with 20 punts down inside the opponents’ 20-yard line.

Pro Football Focus has Wing rated as the No. 33 punter out of 37 qualifying players.
