The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they’ve signed punter Jordan Berry to a contract on Tuesday.

Berry’s gets his first opportunity in the NFL, which will leave him in position to compete for a roster spot with Brad Wing, who is coming off of an underwhelming 2014 season.
Last year, Wing was No. 31 in gross punting average and No. 21 in net (38.8), so it will be interesting to see if Berry is able to win the job this summer.
During his four-year career at Eastern Kentucky, Berry posted a punt average of 41.6 to go along with 229 punts for 9,516 total yards.
