Steelers Sign RB Abou Toure To Their Practice Squad

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed RB Abou Toure to their practice squad.

The Steelers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. RB Abou Toure
  2. RB Rajoin Neal
  3. WR Tyler Murphy
  4. DB Isaiah Frey
  5. DE Caushaud Lyons
  6. C B.J. Finney
  7. OT Matt Feiler
  8. TE Xavier Grimble
  9. DB Jordan Dangerfield
  10. WR Shakim Phillips

DeAngelo Williams is dealing with an injury, so this is likely to bolster their running back depth in case they need some one this weekend.

Toure, 24, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee-Martin back in May. He was unfortunately among the Colts’ final roster cuts, but later signed on to the Cardinals’ practice squad close to a month ago.

Arizona released him a few weeks ago.

Toure has yet to appear in an NFL game.
