The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms with second-round S Sean Davis, according to Jeremy Fowler. The deal is expected to be finalized later today.
This leaves first-round CB Artie Burns and third-round DT Javon Hargrave as the only unsigned draft picks for the Steelers.
Davis, 22, was taken with the No. 58 overall pick by the Steelers. The Steelers clearly needed some help at safety, and is appears as though Davis will get a shot to be their starting strong safety, replacing veteran Will Allen this summer.
According to OverTheCap.com, Davis receives a four-year contract worth $4,086,976 to go along with a signing bonus of $1,172,344.
During his four-year college career at Maryland, Davis recorded 319 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, five interceptions and 14 pass deflections.
