Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the Steelers are signing veteran OLB James Harrison to a two-year, $3.5 million contract on Wednesday.
Harrison has already confirmed the news via his Instagram account:
Harrison, 38, originally signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Kent State back in 2002. He had a brief stint with the Ravens but returned to the Steelers in 2004 and eventually secure a long-term extension from the team.
Pittsburgh, unfortunately, released him in 2013 and Harrison spent a year with the Bengals before returning to the Steelers at the start of the 2014 season.
In 2016, Harrison appeared in 15 games for the Steelers and recorded five sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 11 edge defender out of 109 qualifying players.
