Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports is reporting that Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu “probably won’t” play in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
LB LaMarr Woodley, RB Rashard Mendenhall and C Maurkice Pouncey all “have a good shot” to play for the Steelers according to La Canfora, but the same cannot be said for Polamalu.
Polamalu’s calf injury looks like it could linger, which is not good news for a Steelers defense, which has not resembled its old self thus far this season.
