Steelers TE Heath Miller Expected To Miss First Month Of Season

Alan Robinson of the Pittsburgh Tribune Review expects Steelers TE Heath Miller to miss the first month of the regular season and perhaps even more due to injury.

While the Steelers are confident enough of Miller’s recover as to not place him in the reserve/PUP list, there are no guarantees. Miller is still on his rehab process following surgeries to his ACL, MCL and PCL.

Miller was the Steelers most reliable receiver last season as they failed to establish the running game and were forced to rely on the passing game as their main weapon.

David Paulson and Jamie McCoy will work to fill in for Miller while he recovers.
