Steelers Waive CB Antonio Crawford With Injury Designation

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Thursday that they’ve placed CB Antonio Crawford on waivers with an injury designation.

Should Crawford pass through waivers unclaimed, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list on Friday.

Crawford wound up going undrafted out of West Virginia back in May. The Steelers just signed him to a contract on Wednesday, but it appears as though he suffered an injury after joining the team.

During his college career at Miami and West Virginia, Crawford recorded 80 tackles, one sack, an interception, a forced fumble, a recovery and 14 pass defenses over the course of 30 games.
