Steelers Waive DB Antonio Crawford With Failed Physical Designation

The Pittsburgh Steelers officially waived DB Antonio Crawford with a failed physical designation on Thursday.

Crawford wound up going undrafted out of West Virginia back in May of last year. The Steelers signed him to a contract during the preseason only to cut him loose a day later with an injury designation.

Crawford reverted to the Steelers’ injured reserve list after clearing waivers and he spent the entire season on I.R.

During his college career at Miami and West Virginia, Crawford recorded 80 tackles, one sack, an interception, a forced fumble, a recovery and 14 pass defenses over the course of 30 games.
