The Pittsburgh Steelers officially waived TE Ray Hamilton from their injured reserve list on Wednesday with a settlement, according to the NFL Transactions release.
Hamilton, 22, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in May. However, the Cowboys waived him a few months ago.
The Steelers wound up claiming Hamilton off of waivers, only to waived-injured him a few weeks later. After clearing waivers, Pittsburgh added Hamilton to their injured reserve list.
During his four years at Iowa, Hamilton caught 29 passes for 305 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
