Steelers Worked Out 4 Players Including DB Lee Hightower & DE Farrington Huguenin

The Pittsburgh Steelers officially worked out four players on Friday including DB Greg Ducre, DB Lee Hightower, DE Farrington Huguenin and LB Dwayne Norman.

Hightower, 23, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Houston back in May. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad.

Hightower was on and off of the Colts’ practice squad this year before he eventually joined the Redskins for a brief stint on their taxi squad.

During his college career, Hightower recorded 65 tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble and five pass defenses over the course of 20 games.

Huguenin, 24, wound up signing on with the Dolphins back in May after going undrafted out of Kentucky. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Dolphins and is set to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.

The Dolphins waived Huguenin with an injury designation during the preseason before eventually cutting him loose with a settlement a week later.

During his college career, Huguenin recorded 97 tackles, five tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, a fumble recovery and three pass defenses.
