Steelers Worked Out Six Players

According to Howard Balzer, the Pittsburgh Steelers brought in six players for tryouts in recent days including LB Max Valles.

The full list of tryouts for the Steelers includes:

1. DE Darnell Leslie
2. LB Kenneth Olugbode
3. LB Max Valles
4. RB Joel Bouagnon
5. S Lorenzo Jerome
6. S Andrew Williamson

Valles, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2015. He lasted less than a year in Oakland before he was signed off of the Raider’ practice squad by the Bills.

Buffalo elected to cut Valles loose coming out of the preseason last September and he later returned to the Raiders’ practice squad.

During his college career at Virginia, Valles recorded 78 tackles, 18 tackles for a loss, 13 sacks, an interception returned for a touchdown, four forced fumbles, two recoveries and 12 pass defenses over the course of two years and 20 games.
