Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster Officially Removed From Suspension

Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster has been officially removed from the NFL’s suspension list and is now on the team’s 53-man roster.

Smith-Schuster was suspended one-game after blocking for RB Le’Veon Bell and leveled Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict. After being evaluated by the Bengals’ medical staff, the decision was made to place Burfict on a backboard and cart him off of the field.

Smith-Schuster, 21, is a second-round pick by the Steelers out of USC in the 2017 NFL Draft. He is in the first year of a four-year, $4.19 million rookie contract that included a $1.19 million signing bonus, and is set to earn a base salary of $465,000 this season.

So far this season, Smith-Schuster has appeared in 11 games recorded 37 receptions for 585 yards receiving, five touchdowns, to go along with 69 kickoff return yards.
